The Pi Phi membership experience begins with participation in sorority primary recruitment, which takes place in the Fall at the start of every school year. Members of 14 Panhellenic Chapters meet incoming potential new members (PNMs). Our recruitment process is designed to eagerly welcome PNMs into our home with a respectful and enthusiastic embrace. This journey is an opportunity to learn about our sisterhood, meet our members, and discover if our chapter is the right fit for you! Leadership and Involvement round is the opportunity to meet members of all chapters for the first time and get to know the Greek Community. We want to make this process comfortable, as it can be overwhelming, so our home welcomes you with comfort and encouragement. The second round is Philanthropy, allowing you to build stronger relationships and learn about our wonderful foundation, Read > Lead > Achieve. We are passionate about spreading awareness about illiteracy across the Nation, hoping to shape a more prosperous society through a lifelong love of reading. Next is Sisterhood round, during this round you will visit up to 6 sororities over the course of one day. PNMs will be given a tour of the chapter facility where you can see what the living accommodations look like. We will share additional information about chapter activities, things we are involved with on or off campus, or other points of pride, as well as being able to answer any questions you have about the financial obligations of membership and living in a chapter home. Our final round of recruitment is Preference, this is the time for any lingering questions that we can answer. This time is about you in order to learn all you can about your future home!
